Monday Mood Board #22

Hello Everyone....
Monday Mood Board #22 is up at Wplus9.
Love all the colors that Dawn pick...so soft and pretty :)

I'm a sucker for feathers...so can't help but use WPlus9 Fanciful Feathers on my card.
I first made a card from black cardstock then really distress it with white pigment ink pad, to get
the chalkboard look for my background.

I then die-cut a white cardstock using circle die from My Favorite Things Pierced Circle Stax.
Then start stamping my feather in circular motion using two different colored ink.

At the bottom of my card I cut a panel from wood veneer sheets and embossed one of the
image from Chantilly Trim on vellum and die-cut the bottom using Scallop Border die.

The flower trim was from Maya Road.

Here's the full look of the card.

I couldn't help but make another card using  Fanciful Feathers stamp set.
On this card I also used the Timeless Tags 2 die set. I actually cut the tag in half to place it on the
top and bottom of my circular panel to create that long tag look behind it.

I did stamp the feather image on a circular motion same as the first card. The only difference
is that I used the rock and roll technique before stamping on my panel.
You can check out Dawn's video HERE for this technique.

I really love this color combo....don't you?

Oh...for the bottom of my card I used the gray Air Mail Washi from Freckled Fawn. I also used one of the stamp image from  Chantilly Trim to finish it of.

 Here's another look.

I hope you guys enjoyed my take on the challenge.

Have a wonderful week!
Thank you so much for visiting me :)

CAS(E) this Sketch #52

Hello lovely friends!
Its time for.....

This sketch was designed by Karolyn Loncon.... with so many possibilities!

Without further ado...here's how I started my card.
I used the Vintage Cream cardstock from PTI for my card.
I then stamped it with The Sweet Life stamp from PTI, then
embossed it with  Pearlustre embossing powder to give that pearly translucent look.

Its nice if you want to achieve just a hint of color.

I did die cut my pattern paper using Half and Half die collection from PTI.
As for my banner I used the Fish Tail  layer dies from My Favorite Things and I also used the
Boutique Borders Thank You stamp and die from PTI.

To finish it off I then added the resin flower Blossom from Kaiser Craft.

Here is the whole look of the card.

I hope I have inspired you to join us this week.

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Hello Everyone...
I am participating at  October Papertrey Ink Blog Hop today.

On my tag I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set from Winter Hills, and Simply Jane for my frame.
The sentiment is from Wplus9 Merry & Bright.

For my tags I used the Heidi Swapp Notes and die-cut it with the Tag Sale #5.
As for the bow I used the MFT's die-namics Dainty Bows.

Here's just a look when putting it on the actual gift...hehe..
Ooh...I also die cut the image from Meadow Greens for added touch.

On this design tag I die-cut the tag from PTI Tag sale #2.
I then stamped the tag with one of the sentiment in Winter Hills stamps in Soft stone to have a subtle design.
The red snowflakes die-cut was from Walmart. I added the same sentiment from Wplus9 Merry & Bright.

For this 3rd design I used the stamps from PTI Harvest Berries, I added
some bling and bow then voila!

For this tag I used the stamps set from PTI Holiday Tags 2011. I embossed the image with
silver embossing powder. As for the octagon panel I used the Scrolling Scroll stamps and dies.

For this tag I also used the image from PTI Holiday Tags 2011. This time I embossed
my image with gold embossing powder.
The tag papers are from Heidi Swapp Note as well.
.

CAS(E) this Sketch #51

Hi my dear friends.....
Its time for another CAS(E) this Sketch!
This amazing sketch is my made by N@ Ali.

For this sketch I created a baby card! I do not have many baby stamps.
So for this card I used the stamps from Mama Elephant Cosmic Stars. I think this stamp set
can easily be transpose to a baby card....just need a  sentiment to match :)

On my card I first distress the whole card panel with Black Soot from Ranger. I love distressing
my card panel and leaving the middle lighter than the sides, to make the images add more interest.

Here's the close-up of the cute little cosmic stars. I just love the images on this set, so many
possibilities and so adorable. The sentiment I used is from PTI Scrolling Script.

Here's the shot of the starts when catches the light. I used Delicata ink on the stars to give sort a
mystical feel. Though probably it only looks mystical to me hehe..ha!

Here's another look of the card.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and have inspired you to join us :)

Thinking of You

Hello Everyone...
I am so happy I get to participate at CASology and Addicted to Stamps this week.
I am so in love with dark distressing right now...I guess because its the fall season.
Its just that we have mist every morning here....which I really love. The cool weather is really nice :)

Without further ado....here's what I created for both challenges.

First I stamp and fuzzy cut my images, after everything is adhere to my panel, I then distress
my panel with Black Soot by Ranger. I just made sure to apply the distress very lightly since this color
is very strong...I just keep adding as I go along.
I then adhere the panel on my cardstock.

More distressing here at the bottom. I used one of the images from Autumn Pattern Pieces from
PTI the Plaid image for more of a country feel :)

The stamps I used for this card are from Wplus9 Fresh Cut Florals, for my vase I use stamps from
Milk and Cookies, PTI Cutting GardenMini Bloom, and Autumn Pattern Pieces.

Here's another look of the whole card.

I hope you enjoyed!

Memento Gray Flannel. The flower for my card I made it using the satin ribbon from Michaels.

The leaves are Burlap that I also got from Michaels, just hand cut it.

The sentiments are from PTI Gratitude Journal and Wplus9 Fresh Cut Florals.

Runway Inspired Challenge #46

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to another Runway Inspired Challenge!
A Photo to inspire you tremendously...I know I did!

In this challenge I created a CAS card instead of my usual dimensional cards.
I used the recently release stamp set from My Favorite Things Blooming Roses,

I like how this way turned out, the roses at the background made the sentiment
pop out even more.

Here's another look :)

For my second card I made a dimensional card this second time around and here's what I created.
I used the new stamp set from Wplus9 Pretty Poinsettias and I also used the
Background & Border 1. For the leaves I used My Favorite Things Blooming Roses.
You can also see the die set from Under the Mistletoe.

The sentiment I used was from Fanciful Feathers stamp set.

Here's the other look of the second card :)

I hope you like what I created for this challenge.
