Sending Love

Hello Everyone,
I cannot believe that we are approaching the month of December.

I just want to share this card I created using Silhouette, from the Holiday Message collection.

I first distress the top and bottom of this cut panel and splatter it with water. After the water is dried
I then splatter it with Heidi Swapp color mists.

I hope you can see the details on my picture, I have not perfected the cutting mechanism of the
new Silhouette, probably in the future I could make it a little better.

Though distressing hides some of the flaws :)

Here is the bottom of the card.

Here is the whole card.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post,
Have a good weekend!

Info Share - Cardstock Recollections

Hello Crafty Friends,
I just want to share this find with you.....just in case you need a thick cardstock right away,
Michaels now carry a 110 lb white and cream cardstock if you need it.
I am not marketing Recollections just sharing info, for those of you who does not want to wait for the mail man, this could be a good alternative.

Just found this during Black Friday at Michaels $12.99 so if you use 40% Off not so bad anymore.

It is pretty thick, so..so close to Papertrey Ink white cardstock, though the Papertrey Ink is whiter, but
it will do.

I hope you can see the thickness is my picture.

Here's another shot, this is cut by my new acquired Silhouette.... <3

I hope you guys like this little tidbit!
Happy Weekend.

Thank you for visiting!

Hello Deerie!

Hello There,
I finally get to play with some of the Lawn Fawn stamps I received in the mail.
For my card I used the Critters in the Snow stamp set.

For my scene I created a summer theme, though I used the image from the winter set. I like
to use stamps and create something other than intends to.

First of the clouds is from the Into the woods stamps set.

For my sentiment I used the Critters in the Snow again and the Milo's ABCs.

As for the ground in my scene I masked and distress it to create the grassy look.
I then colored the images with copics.

Here is the full card.

I hope you enjoyed!
Thank you for visiting!

Have a wonderful day :)

Season's Greetings

Hello Lovelies,
Just want to share my second take on this Monday Mood Board #24 at WPlus9.

For this card I used the stamp set from WPlus9 Heartfelt Holiday.
As for the sentiment I used the set from Merry & Bright.

I first I die cut my tag using Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #5, then mask the bottom of my tag with grey ink.
I then start stamping all my images. Next I adhere my tag and tie some natural twine from May Arts.
Next, I then splatter my card with Mr Huey's Shine from Studio Calico, then adhere my wood veneer snowflakes to finish it off. Oops...I also used some washi at the bottom of my card and viola!

Here's the look of the full card.

I hope you guys enjoyed this short post.
Have a wonderful week.

As for the sentiment I used the Silver Bells stamp set.

1. First I created a circle then start stamping my image.
2. After stamping the leaves, I then stamped the acorn.
3. Next I added this bough image.
4. I then added the berries and fuzzy cut the whole created image.

CAS(E) this Sketch #55

Hello Everyone....
I hope you are having a marvelous day, its almost the weekend :) and its time for....

This sketch for this week is made by Karolyn Loncon.

For my card instead of using rectangle image, I opted for a circle image and used the clock face from Papertrey Ink stamp set called Hands of Time instead. I used this image because of the little lines that's part of the clock. I also added some flowers from Rosie Posie stamps, dies and Rosie Posie Step 2
As for the sentiment I used the stamp set from Fresh Cut Florals.

I also added some splatter of Heidi Swapp Color Shine Gold Lame to finish of my card and to add
more color.

I love this mist, the effect is so iridescently fabulous when it hits the light....which I <3.

Here is the look of the whole card.

I hope you like my take on the challenge, and have encourage you to join us this week of  creating :)

Ooh...don't forget to check out the other DT's for there amazing interpretations HERE.

From All Of Us

Hello crafty Friends,
I finally got this yeti set go stamp set from one of the local stamp store
here in Jacksonville....hehehe.. couldn't wait to play with it.

Fortunately I get to enter it to...

Lawnscaping Challenge # 70!

All about polka dots.

For my card I used the Yeti Set Go stamp set. For my sentiment "From all of US" I used the Milo's ABCs.

For this card I created a panel, then I drew the hills using a sharpie black pen then outline the lines with copics, then stamped my trees.
Next I then stamped the Yetis and colored all my images with copics.

I then added some Sakura GellyRoll Stardust Clear pen for added shimmer effect on the trees and to the
Yeti's tummy. The shimmer is so pretty when it his the light :) better in real life.

For the snow, I used my copics and made some dots, to make it not all perfect.

I added some foam dots on some of the Yetis for added dimensions.

Here is the full card of happy Yetis :)

I hope you enjoyed my take on this challenge.
You can check out all the details HERE.

Thank you for visiting me!
Have a wonderful week creating :)

Runway Inspired Challenge #48

Hello Everyone, its time for....

photo inspiration from Antonio Marras Spring 2014 collection.
I love this photo because of its simplicity, but with a wow factor!

On this photo I have taken the leaves, and looks like a watercolor effects of the flowers with
pink and grayish of the dress as an inspiration on my card.
Oooh...if you look really closely to the dress it also have a shimmer to it,
I tried to add some of it on my card too :)

I tried to challenge myself since the only real reason that I bought this stamp set Basket of Blessings from
Papertrey Ink is because of the sentiments that are part of the set. So I thought there must be another way
to use this set, just not for its intended purpose.
Since I have been on a wreath spree lately, I just have to try that concept and viola!

1.) First I stamped the flower basket image on top, and added one more at the bottom, I just made sure
that the basket is very to the other.
2.) I then use my oval nestabilities die to remove the basket part of the image.
3.) After removing the middle I was ready for coloring.

1. 2.
3.

Though my challenge in this image is how to color it since my flowers are small.
I just want to show you my first attempt on coloring this images.
I didn't use the rock and roll technique here yet.

4.) So instead of stamping the little images directly to the ink pad unto the paper.
I tried the rock and roll technique with added twist by Maile Belles, just click HERE
I think its Pretty awesome if I do say so myself, she's been a constant inspiration I am sure to many of us :)

5.) As for the grey flowers I used my copics to color that image W1, W3, W5, and C9.

6.) After inking all my images I added some shimmer on some of the flowers using Sakura
GellyRoll Stardust Clear pen for added effect, since the Zig Wink of Stella I ordered have not arrived yet
I think this Sakura pen is a pretty good alternative to add glitz on your card without the added bulk.

The look of the card when it hits the light, you see the shimmer detail.

7.) I added some strip of black and white patterned paper on both side of my card, stamp my sentiment, and
then added some foam dots on my panel for dimension.

Here is my final card, I think I like this one better than the first attempt.

I hope you have enjoyed my attempts on this amazing photo inspiration.

Oh and don't forget to checkout my Teamies for added inspiration, they have whipped up some
amazing projects.

CAS(E) this Sketch #54

Hello Lovelies....Happy Thursday!
Its time for another CAS(E) this Sketch.

A fun sketch made by N@ Ali.

Here's what I came up with.
For my card I created my own background using the embossed resist technique which
you can watch here. I used different color
distress ink to create a colorful background to go with my strip of flowery patterned paper from
Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic. As for the sentiment I use the stamp set from Papertrey ink

To finish my card I die-cut this Fancy Flourish from Cheery Lynn Designs for added touch to add
behind my sentiment.

Here's the full look of the card.

I hope you enjoyed my take.
Don't forget to see the other DT's work for interpretation HERE
Cannot wait to see what you guys make for this week's fun challenge!

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful week.

Moxie FAB Thanks Cath

Hello Lovelies....
You should be coming from Sarah's blog

I am so honored to be hopping with these wonderful people today.
In honor of  Cath Edvalson,
for always inspiring us in crafting community, for pushing us to try new trends.

This hop is for you!

I created this card in remembrance of the Gold Glitter challenge at Moxie Fab World not too long ago.
The sentiment I used in this card is very special to me. I have not been blogging long, but I get
lots of inspiration at MFW. Is it beautiful that many wonderful people create and go to you Cath to
get inspired. It does that to me, make everything beautiful because we have a place where we gather
and share our creativity to others and be inspired at the same time. So though it is bitter sweet that you are leaving, you will always
be remembered as a MOXIE FAB in our hearts <3.

Thank you for always inspiring us in our craft!

Here is the look of the card when it hits the light, it shows the gold ink I used :). Delicata ink.

This card is made using the stamp set from Papertrey Ink Pedal Pusher.
I think it is a perfect stamp set, because you Cath always push us to be creative, every time we visit you at
Moxie Fab World.

The technique I use in creating this card is the same as the one I used when I participated at
the past Gold Glitter Challenge,  you can click HERE
The only difference is that I mask the bottom of the panel to distress it with Walnut Stain by Ranger to
make my road.

Here is the full card.

I hope you enjoyed!

Thank you so much for everything <3
Thank you for visiting!

Your next stop is to Lalo's blog.
Enjoy!
