CAS(E) this Sketch #48

Hello Lovelies....
Its time for CAS(E) this Sketch!
What a lovely sketch from N@ Ali.

I really love distressing my card using distress inks....so here's what I came up with.
I stamped all my images and sentiments first then color it with copics.
I then distress the whole card leaving only the middle.
I love doing this technique because it makes my focal point stand out even more :)

For the silver dots you see on my card, I used the Gelly Roll Stardust Clear pen for added shimmer.
I really love the effects its really pretty in real life.
For my cupcakes I use the stamps from WPlus9 Sweets & Treats.

As for the sentiments I used the stamps from WPlus9 Dockside.

I added some foam dots on my card panel, for little elevation.

Here's another look :)

Thank you for visiting!
I Hope you will join us again for another CAS(E) this Sketch this week!

For more great inspiration please check out the other DTs for their FAB interpretations.
Have a Wonderful rest of the week!!!

  3. Hi Joni, this is really unusual, with the black/grey distressing but it is outstanding, very eye catching x

  10. I love how you created some drama on this card with the black. It's funny that such a dark color can make a card seem even more happy. It totally does amazing things for the focus of the card. Love it!
