Runway Inspired Challenge #52

Hello...hello...Its time for another

Runway Inspired Challenged

This time the photo inspiration is from

G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S
don't you think?

For this challenge I created my own images using my cheap watercolor palette from Michaels.

Let me show you how I did it.

First, I want to say please forgive me if my video is shaking this is my very first video attempt, and I could not find my tripod and I really want to show you instead of getting shots of each step process. I have to hold the video while I paint at the same time....I hope its not too painful to watch :(
" Sorry for my daughter, she didn't know I was doing a video."

Nevertheless, I hope this help gives you an idea on how I did my water-coloring flower image technique :)

My short video...

For this card  I used the sentiment from Avery Elle Save the Date.
Oh...the cardstock I used for water-coloring is the one from Michaels from the Recollections brand. 110lbs. Its OK, the cardstock is pretty thick it managed to hold my ink together, though got a little warp but easy fixed :). I just used a score-tape when I adhere on my card base to minimize the warping.

Here's the look of the full card.

I made another card using the watercolor technique, I added some pearls to finish of the card. The sentiment is from PTI Table Service.

Here's the look of the full card.

I hope you guys enjoyed my projects :)

  26. Now that's impressive, holding the camera, painting, and narrating all at the same time : ) Really, truly gorgeous watercoloring, Joni! It was fun to see how you created this look. The flowers on your second card look so much like poppies! I could see doing several of these once you got going.

PS, as I was cutting the Recollections 110 lb paper I noticed that my ream is NOT square ... how crazy is that? It was driving me nuts figuring out why my folds were crooked. No matter, I'm just so happy to have that thick paper.

  34. Hi Joni - I must be the slowest person EVER in discovering you and your amazing creativity and talent! Your card here is absolutely stunning and inspiring; your video is a delight, especially impressive that you were painting and filming at the same time. Yet more evidence of how multi-faceted you are! So as not to miss another dazzling creation, I'm adding you to my Feedly list. I want to be in the "Joni loop" of inspiration!! Excited to have "found" you, finally!
