Hello Everyone, welcome to Altenew's 4th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 4. You should have arrived from Reiko Tsuchida's Blog.
For this project I used Altenew's Floral Garden and Garden Treasure stamp set. I distressed my background with Distress Ink pad in Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves, then splattered the background with water using my small watercolor brush.
I then gold heat embossed the sentiment also from Altenew's Floral Garden and added some Diamond Stickles on the flower and leaves for added interest.
Next, I adhered the die-cut with foam tape for dimension.

ReplyDeleteI have a few of the Altenew floral stamp sets. How could I have overlooked these stunning stamp sets? I like your idea of using multiple floral stamp sets to create a card. I tend to used only one stamp set per card. I have been inspired to change my ways. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! I love the darker background. And talk about inspiration! I had a card here on my worktable that I wasn't happy with. As soon as I saw the blings on your card I knew exactly what it needed. I stopped and fixed it up and now I am satisfied. I had some Stickles on it and a touch of clear star pen but it needed the gemstones to bring it to life.
