CASE STUDY #184

Hello...hello...this week is my last week as being a Muse @ CASE Study Challenge blog.
I thank you CASE Study for letting me play the whole month with these talented ladies.
I hope you have love all the inspirations through out this month.

For the final week here is my card from the original POST.

Here's my take...instead of using light colors I went and use bold instead....hehehe you guys know I love bold colors <3  I hope you don't mind seeing another bold card *-* For this card...just very simple, but because of the bold colors of the flowers gives it more....well...hehehe..more..don't you think?

1. First I created my card base, then cut my first panel using vellum, using scallop framed dies from Mama Elephant Femme Frames - Creative Cuts.
2. Then I created another panel using white cardstock using the other Mama Elephant framed die, but the stitch die this time.
3. I die-cut and stamped all my images using PTI Rosie Posie and adhere on the panel with foam dots.
4. For my sentiment, I embossed my sentiment on vellum using Gold embossing powder, then fussy cut the sentiment and adhere on the card with clear foam tape for dimensions.

Here's the straight look.

Here's the side view look, to show more of the gold sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed,

CASE Study #183

Hello...Everyone....its time for another CASE Study this month as your humble Muse.
Here's the card we are casing this week.
You can see the original post HERE.

Here's what I came up with.

1. First created my card base from a white cardstock and then a panel.
2. Then, embossed my strip of vellum using Hero Arts LARGE FLOWER BACKGROUND, and adhere.
3. I also cut a strip of patterned paper from Carta Bella then adhere.
4. For my focal point I used PTI FANCY FOLK ART die, die-cut and stamped the image and colored it with copics then adhere the pieces with foam dots and adhere on the card.
5. The sentiment is from the same set, after stamping it on the cardstock I just fussy cut and adhere with foam dots to finish off my card.

Just another view :)

Here's the full view of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card the second time around :)

Case Study #182

Hello Everyone..
I am playing again with CASE STUDY as the Muse this month of March.
Here is the my original card HERE.

For my take for the second time, instead of distressing my panel. This time I inked my heat mat sprayed it with water and smooshed my doily embossed panel on the mat to get the ink, then used my heat gun to dry my panel and do the process again 3 or 4 times really depends on your liking *-* wink!!!

As for my focal point before stamping the image on the cardstock, I first ink the image then spritz it with water them stamped it on the cardstock. Next I then stamped it again with the darker ink color just regular without water spritzing to get the watercolor and bold look of the image. The flower image is from Avery Elle Thanks A Bunch stamp set.

Here's the look of the full card.

I hope you guys like this take.

CAS(E) this Sketch #50

Hello Everyone!
Its time for CAS(E) this Sketch.
We have an amazing sketch this week by Chrissy Larson.

On this card I used the new October release stamps and die sets from WPlus9.

I also used the Clear Sakura Pen to make the snowflakes, just drew circles everywhere on
my card panel to get the look.

Here's another look.

I hope you get to join us this week :)

Thank you so much for visiting.
Have a wonderful day!

U Rock

Happy Thursday Everyone!
I cannot believe the day just go by so quickly these days.
I hope you are having a fabulous week its almost weekend :)

Today I am participating at

CASE Study Challenge #151

What I love this project is that its from the talented Jocelyn Olson.
Love how she incorporated that image on her card with neon colors....Swoon!!

So as I study this case and this is what I came up with....

In this card used the stamp sets from My Favorite Things Mod Borders,
Hero Arts My Favorite,
Avery Elle Texture Tiles: Be Cool, and the sentiments was from
Papertrey Ink Live love Life.

I added some sequins for added interest.

I did the background using Texture Tiles by die-cutting circles on my piece of paper
and selectively stamping my image on my card panel.

I just love that netting and grunge image that Jocelyn used on her card.

So here is what I used to make the background
I die-cut piece of paper with different size of circle dies.
I also seen Laurie Wilson do this technique on one of her projects.
But I believe this techniques been around a while.
Going back to my background .....

I stamped the image...(texture tiles)
I have to stamp the image twice with the big circle to cover it good.

Then I used the other piece of paper, this time is the smaller circle.

Here is the final product,
its okay if you can see the dark lines on the big circle, i will cover
it with the feather stamp anyway so it will not show.

Here is the full card!

I hope you guys enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day and Thank you for visiting me :)
