Runway Inspired Challenge #48

Hello Everyone, its time for....

photo inspiration from Antonio Marras Spring 2014 collection.
I love this photo because of its simplicity, but with a wow factor!

On this photo I have taken the leaves, and looks like a watercolor effects of the flowers with
pink and grayish of the dress as an inspiration on my card.
Oooh...if you look really closely to the dress it also have a shimmer to it,
I tried to add some of it on my card too :)

I tried to challenge myself since the only real reason that I bought this stamp set Basket of Blessings from
Papertrey Ink is because of the sentiments that are part of the set. So I thought there must be another way
to use this set, just not for its intended purpose.
Since I have been on a wreath spree lately, I just have to try that concept and viola!

1.) First I stamped the flower basket image on top, and added one more at the bottom, I just made sure
that the basket is very to the other.
2.) I then use my oval nestabilities die to remove the basket part of the image.
3.) After removing the middle I was ready for coloring.

1. 2.
3.

Though my challenge in this image is how to color it since my flowers are small.
I just want to show you my first attempt on coloring this images.
I didn't use the rock and roll technique here yet.

4.) So instead of stamping the little images directly to the ink pad unto the paper.
I tried the rock and roll technique with added twist by Maile Belles, just click HERE
I think its Pretty awesome if I do say so myself, she's been a constant inspiration I am sure to many of us :)

5.) As for the grey flowers I used my copics to color that image W1, W3, W5, and C9.

6.) After inking all my images I added some shimmer on some of the flowers using Sakura
GellyRoll Stardust Clear pen for added effect, since the Zig Wink of Stella I ordered have not arrived yet
I think this Sakura pen is a pretty good alternative to add glitz on your card without the added bulk.

The look of the card when it hits the light, you see the shimmer detail.

7.) I added some strip of black and white patterned paper on both side of my card, stamp my sentiment, and
then added some foam dots on my panel for dimension.

Here is my final card, I think I like this one better than the first attempt.

I hope you have enjoyed my attempts on this amazing photo inspiration.

Oh and don't forget to checkout my Teamies for added inspiration, they have whipped up some
