U Rock

Happy Thursday Everyone!
I cannot believe the day just go by so quickly these days.
I hope you are having a fabulous week its almost weekend :)

Today I am participating at

CASE Study Challenge #151

What I love this project is that its from the talented Jocelyn Olson.
Love how she incorporated that image on her card with neon colors....Swoon!!

So as I study this case and this is what I came up with....

In this card used the stamp sets from My Favorite Things Mod Borders,
Hero Arts My Favorite,
Avery Elle Texture Tiles: Be Cool, and the sentiments was from
Papertrey Ink Live love Life.

I added some sequins for added interest.

I did the background using Texture Tiles by die-cutting circles on my piece of paper
and selectively stamping my image on my card panel.

I just love that netting and grunge image that Jocelyn used on her card.

So here is what I used to make the background
I die-cut piece of paper with different size of circle dies.
I also seen Laurie Wilson do this technique on one of her projects.
But I believe this techniques been around a while.
Going back to my background .....

I stamped the image...(texture tiles)
I have to stamp the image twice with the big circle to cover it good.

Then I used the other piece of paper, this time is the smaller circle.

Here is the final product,
its okay if you can see the dark lines on the big circle, i will cover
it with the feather stamp anyway so it will not show.

Here is the full card!

I hope you guys enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day and Thank you for visiting me :)

U + Me = Awesome

Hello Everyone...
I hope you are having a fantastic day today.
I want to let you know that its an honor to be
 Guest Designing this week for

Check out this Sketch of the Week!

The stamps I used on my card are Papertrey Ink Live Love Life
and the little hearts you see is from the new release Scrolling Script stamp set.

Here is my take on the challenge...

The arrow that I used is also from the same stamp set Live Love Life.
What I did was ink the little piece of the stamp image.

I then stamped the image close to the letter U to have that arrow look on my card,
this is also what I did on the other side of the sentiment.

I stamped another U then fuzzy cut the U and adhere it with foam tape and voila!

I hope you guys enjoyed my take on the sketch challenge.

Stamping Royalty 2013 Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!
Today its going to be another fun day.
Everyone who were pick for Stamping Royalty for 2013
are giving away prizes for joining us on our Blog Hop.

I am sharing a card in same category that I entered for the Stamping Royalty

In this card I used stamps from Papertrey Ink and My Favorite Things.
For the flowers I used the Happiness In Bloom and Mini Blooms stamp sets.
The triangle border you see on the left side of the card is from the Mod Borders stamp set.

On my card base I created a panel and stamped it using Mod Borders set. After inking, I used
the Mat Stack no. 4 to create a window on my panel. Before I adhere it with foam dots, I stamped
my sentiment using Mini Blooms stamp set.

I die cut my flowers using Blooms no.2
After stamping my image with Hero Arts ink, Fresh Peach, Momento Angel Pink, and for the leaves
Papertrey Ink Simply Chartreuse. I then stamped other images from the set and heat emboss it
with Gold embossing powder, then I added some clear glitters on the middle of my flowers and on the
leaves. The leaves I stamped the image on the vellum and then heat set it to dry right away, and then
put the clear glue and glitters. When I put the glue on the vellum it warps and it gives that bendy look
on my leaves...love it!

I created my own background using the stamps from My Favorite Things Mod Borders.
I first stamped the chevron image.

I then alternate the point of the chevron image to create and inter-locking image.

I call this inter-locking chevron...he..he!

You can see under my flowers that I die cut the vellum with Blooms no.2. I did
this because it added dimensions on the flowers.

Here's another look of the card.

Textured Fun Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hello Everyone!
Welcome on the Texture Fun Blog Hop & Giveaway.
We are featuring Nina's creation on Texture Tiles: Be Cool by Avery Elle.
Its going to be a fun day today with full of inspiration using this set.

This stamp sets really fits its name "Be Cool" because the possibilities of this stamps are endless.
Without further ado here are my projects using this fabulous set!

In this first card I use the Tiny Triangles (see E on the tip sheet).
I bend the stamp before putting it on my acrylic block
to create a scallop image for the background of my card.

Here's the close up of the background I created :)

In this card I also used the Avery Elle Simply Tags Everyday Die  that Nina also designed
 that holds my sentiment.
The sentiment is from Avery Elle Blooming Banner

In this next card, I used the Solid Chevron on the set (F on the tip sheet).
I created a diamond image for my card.
I also used different color inks to make my image pop. I also used the gold embossing powder
for my diamonds to give a more balance gold look on my card.

In this card I also created a window using my circle dies from spellbinders, I then put the
raspberry fizz cardstock on my kraft card base before I adhere my panel on my card using
foam dots.

For the sentiment of my card I used the Avery Elle's Simply Tags Everyday stamp set.
I cut a piece of vellum paper and stamped my sentiment using versamark ink
and then heat emboss it with gold embossing powder.

For my next card, I used the Three Triangle image for my card.
This time I used it to make a banner for my card.

I first stamp the image using the front side of the stamp, after I reached the desired look of my banner
I used the back side of the stamp image to create a shadow for my banner.

I used a much lighter shade of inks for my shadow to make it more of a softer look.
I also used the one tiny solid triangle image on my card to have that confetti feel.

The gift image you see on my card is from the Avery Elle Simply Tags Everyday stamp set.
I stamped the gift image using Delicata Golden Glitz ink, for a more golden look, then I fuzzy cut it and
adhere it with foam dots for an added dimension.

In this onesies shape card I use the texture tile (A triangle) to create a design for my baby card.
I added the heart and sentiment from Simply Tags Everyday stamp set. I fuzzy cut the heart and
adhere with foam dots.
I also added sequins for buttons, for an added interest.

Here's another look of my baby card :)

I hope you enjoyed all the projects I created.
