World Card Making Day!

Hello Lovely Bloggers!
The day has finally come...our own holiday,
World Card Making Day!

So today I made this card in honor of the DAY!
I used the stamp set and die from Papertrey Ink Simply Jane for the frame.
For the little house I used the Spring Hills stamp set.
For the bow image and die is from the Happy Hydrangea set.
The acorn and branches is from the Petal Press Sleigh Ride. I colored the acorn and branches with
copics and added some glitters.

As for the panel I used the stamp from Hero Arts Woodgrain, I distressed it with white embossing powder, and distress it with Hawaiian Shores and Kraft ink.
For the sentiment I used the stamp set from Winter Hills, and colored the heart with copics.
Hope you guys are enjoying your day!
Thank you for visiting!

CAS(E) this Sketch #48

Hello Lovelies....
Its time for CAS(E) this Sketch!
What a lovely sketch from N@ Ali.

I really love distressing my card using distress inks....so here's what I came up with.
I stamped all my images and sentiments first then color it with copics.
I then distress the whole card leaving only the middle.
I love doing this technique because it makes my focal point stand out even more :)

For the silver dots you see on my card, I used the Gelly Roll Stardust Clear pen for added shimmer.
I really love the effects its really pretty in real life.
For my cupcakes I use the stamps from WPlus9 Sweets & Treats.

As for the sentiments I used the stamps from WPlus9 Dockside.

I added some foam dots on my card panel, for little elevation.

Here's another look :)

Thank you for visiting!
I Hope you will join us again for another CAS(E) this Sketch this week!

Runway Inspired Challenge #45 - Design Team

Hello Everyone!

I have some exciting news to share with you today. I am so honored that
I will be joining the Design Team at the
I want to say a Big THANK You to Jennifer Rzasa  for asking me be part of these Amazing ladies :).

Without further ado here is my take on this Fabulous inspiration photo.

This is just a quick tutorial on how I die-cut my floating flower.

1.) I die-cut the acrylic cardstock using the Gorgeous Gardenia Background  &
2.) But before I die-cut the gardenia outline I first adhere a double sided tape
on my cardstock so that I will not have a hard time adhering
the pieces of the flower later on.

3.) After I die-cut using the Gorgeous Gardenia outline
4.) I adhere the outline to my acrylic background.

3 4

5.) This is when all my little pieces already all adhere on my acrylic background.
6.) Now I can now remove my outline.

7. This is when the outline is all gone and ready for copic coloring :)

To assemble my card.....
I first stamp my stripes using one of the Nina's stamp collection from Avery Elle: Texture Tiles Be Cool on my white cardstock. I then die-cut my Gorgeous Gardenia Background using an acrylic cardstock. I used it as a base to attached the pieces of the Gorgeous Gardenia Outline. Once all my flower piece are all adhere on my acrylic gardenia background, then the outline is removed, and its ready for copic coloring.

For sentiment I used Papertrey Ink: Pedal Pusher for the"thank" and for the "you" I die-cut
the Wonderful Words Die: Thank you from Papertrey Ink after embossing it with silver embossing powder.
As for the stripes at the bottom I used the Tiles be Cool, I just covered it with a washi and
inked it up with different color ink pads, took me 5 minutes to create that colorful stripes.

To make it more a little dramatic I added a clear foam tape so that it will not show on my
pretty flower and to make flower looks like its floating.

Here's another look of the card.

I hope I have inspired you!
