EBE - Holiday 2016 Previews

Hello Everyone, Welcome to the Essentials by Ellen 2016 Holiday Previews. You should have come from the Amazing Sandy Allnock's Blog. But if you did not, you can start at The CLASSroom so you don't miss anything.

For my first project, I used the new Stitches Cover Plate, Bird Shapes, the berry sprig image from Homespun Holiday, and peace die-cut from Holiday Words.

To begin, I first distressed my card panel with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feather then run the Stitches Cover Plate to give that stitched background. Then I die-cut the bird from the Bird Shapes dies four times and adhered it on top of the other. The top part of the wings were colored with Copic Markers in gray and added some Stardust Stickles to give that glittered look. I also added the berry sprig from the Homespun Holiday on the beak of the bird.

For the sentiment "May your holidays be filled with wonder and touched by" is from the new Season To Sparkle stamp set, I simply cover the work "peace" with washi before inking it on the Versamark ink. Then removing the washi tape before stamping the sentiment on a gray cardstock and white heat embossed to give a white colored look. The peace die-cut is from the Holiday Words die, I also die-cut the word 4 times adhered it on top of the other and then distressed the bottom and added some Stardust Stickles for glitz.

Next, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins to finish off this card.

For this next card have a similar concept. I first distressed the card panel with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick and then added some pink dots using my Copic markers. I also added some stars image from Season To Sparkle stamp set. The sentiment "Tis the season to Sparkle" is also from the same stamp set.

Next, I heat white embossed the snowflakes image from the same set. Then distressed each snowflakes and die-cut them with Season To Sparkle Designer dies. I also added some Stardust Stickles on this card as well.

Next, I stamped the rock image randomly on the the white cardstock, distressed it then fussy cut. The deer was stamped colored with Copic Markers and die-cut as well. All die-cut images were adhered with foam tape for dimensions.

Here's another look.

I hope you enjoyed these products.

Inspiration :)

For this project I used the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Hydrangea, Totally Awesome stamp sets, and Zipper Panel dies.

To begin, I first white heat embossed the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Hydrangea on a watercolor paper then, watercolor the image using ZIG CLEAN COLOR Real Brush 60. Let it dry and die-cut using the Zipper Panel dies.

But before attaching the watercolored die-cut on the white card base, I first put the money on top then adhered it with washi, when the receiver of the card open it the money will be there.

For the sentiment "treat yo self" is from the Totally Awesome stamp set that I heat embossed with gold embossing powder on a white cardstock, cut and adhered on the panel with foam tape. The "open" sentiment at the bottom of the card, is just the sentiment I printed from a regular printer at home with a regular copy paper.

Here's just another look.

I hope you enjoyed!

Essentials by Ellen Winter 2016 Hop!

Hello, and welcome to the Essentials by Ellen Winter 2016 Hop! I’ll be showcasing several of the new stamp sets and dies on my post today!

For my first project I used the new Up The Happy stamp set, and Up The Happy die set.

To begin I cut a piece of white cardstock and created a stripe distress lines using post-it as a guide, then sprinkled gold ink on top. Then I stamped the sentiment "the world is super lucky to have you" at the bottom of the card.

Next, I stamped the butterflies image on a white cardstock then watercolored. I also white heat embossed the butterflies as well and die-cut some of the clouds from the set.

Next, I adhered the pieces with foam tape on top of the card panel and finish it off with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins.

For my second card I used the new Bed Of Roses die-cut and Brushstroke Hello die-cut. For the leaves I used the stamp and die-cut from Mondo Hydrangea. For the sentiment I used the All Inside stamp set.

To begin, I first distress the card panel with Distress ink. Then I die-cut the Bed Of Roses 3 times this will help the die-cut to become more prominent on the card. For the leaves from Mondo Hydrangea I white heat embossed it on a vellum and die-cut with its coordinating dies. I also die-cut the Brushstroke Hello from a Kraft cardstock and distress the bottom to give it that ombre look.

The "hi, there" sentiment is white heat embossed on a black strip of cardstock.

Next, I adhered the piece on the card and added the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins to finish off the card.

I hope you guys enjoyed!
