Hello Everyone, I got this cute mermaid stamps from Love Cynthia. For the love of Mermaid theme that I've been seeing everywhere in the blog land. Here is my take on the mermaids, using the Love Cynthia Just keep Swimming stamp set. This mermaid set is so adorable if you have not seen it yet. I wish she will make some coordinating die-sets in the future.
To begin, I first distressed the card base with Distress ink, any distress inks you have will do and splattered it with water using my paint brush. After distressing I die-cut the scallop rectangle from Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Frame Dies (x3) and the 4th die-cut was cut after distressing the bottom.
The bubble image from Just keep Swimming stamp set were stamped along with the starfish. The mermaid image were stamped on a separate white cardstock colored with color pencil, fussy cut and adhered on the card with foam tape for dimensions.
