Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop 2014

Hello There.....
I'm just popping in to participate on the

For the love of pink, here's what I came up with....

1. First I masked the portion of my panel then, stamped the leaves from PTI Meadow Greens in
Raspberry Fizz ink on a scrap paper first then stamp it again on my cut panel this time to get the soft pink
    look.
2. After I got all my pink stamped then I did the same thing using Classic Kraft ink, stamped it first on the
scrap paper then stamped it on my panel.
3. I then die-cut the leaves image then stamped it the same way I did on my panel, stamped it first on the
scrap paper, then stamped it on my vellum die-cut to get the soft image. Just remember the PTI inks are
pretty awesome using it on the vellum *wink*.
4. After all my images are stamped, I then feed it to the sewing machine to get some stitches.
5. Lastly I die-cut the Words Wonderful Thank You die on gold foil 3 times to then adhere, to get the raised look.

Just a different view of the card...

Here's the full look of the card

I hope you enjoyed my take.

Thank you so much for visiting me

The leaves are Burlap that I also got from Michaels, just hand cut it.

Just Saying

Hello Everyone!
Just another card share.
I cannot help make another card using this squirrel.
I made a not so typical LOVE card out of him this time, but its a love card nonetheless.

The Stamp sets I used in this card are Nuts for you, Merry Little Christmas, and Scrolling Script for the little
hearts you see. The "Just Saying" sentiment is from the Bubble Talk set.

To begin with, I did not have any grass die-cut on my stash so I just made my own using vellum.
I cut a piece of vellum and colored it with my Papertrey ink pad Spring Moss.....yup just like what you see on the image below. I just waited for it to dry and then I started cutting the vellum but not all the way, I left
some space at the bottom to adhere a strip of cardstock.

Here's how it looks like after I cut it, then I started coloring it again this time with a darker color
Simply Chartreuse to give it a darker unbalance color.

I then stamp the squirrel image from Nuts for you, colored him with copics and fuzzy cut him.
The heart that you see is from Studio Calico Heart and Arrows wood veneers
I just colored it with red sharpie and then added some glossy accents then waited for it to dry.

After I stamped all my images on my card panel I then cut a strip of white cardstock and colored it
with simply chartreuse ink pad and adhere on top of my grass vellum.

I tried to put him between the cut vellum for added interest.
So here is the final product card.
I hope you guys enjoyed!

Thanksgiving

Hello there Everyone!
Its time for another card share, I have not done it in quite sometime.
So I made a card hoping to inspire you since Autumn is just around the corner :)
I finally got some new stamp sets from Papertrey Ink one of the set is this Nuts For You.
Do you see this cute Squirrel, isn't he sooooo...adorable?
I couldn't help but ink him up right away.
So here's what I came up with.
I stamp all my images first in a separate white cardstock, color each one with copics and then
fuzzy cut. I then arranged them on my card base before gluing and adhering each piece.

But before adhering all the pieces together, I cut a strip of Aqua Mist cardstock
then stamp one of the image from Autumn Pattern Pieces to ground all my images.

Once I finally got all my pieces together, its time to adhere everything.

For the sentiment I used the stamp set from Basket of Blessings.
I really like this stamp set because the sentiment is so big and pretty.

I heat embossed this sentiment using gold embossing powder, I think
it gives the card a warm feel and it pulls all the pieces together.

The full image of the leaves that you see on the sides that's golden in color, this is the
ink pad from Delicata, Golden Glitz, I just love this ink its so vibrant.
Oh and that leaves is from the Autumn Acorn stamp set.

I used a black gem for his eyes....heehehe.....this squirrel is just so cute!
Oh and the basket that you see here is from the Basket of Blessings stamp set, which holds
some of the acorns and leaves :)

Here is the full look of the card.

I hope you guys enjoyed my card share.
Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Hip Hip Hooray!

Hello Everyone!
Just another card share using the Polka Dot Parade #5 from Papertrey Ink.

I first color my watercolor paper using Distress Inks from Ranger Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed.
When my paper is all dried I splatter it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mustard for added color.

I made a nest out of twine and added some clear glitters from Martha Stewart and adhere
the cute bird that I die-cut from Polka dot #5. I just distress color the bird with
Limeade Ice and Hawaiian Shores from PTI added the gold rhinestones for the eye.
I then added the die-cut from Birthday Style, and the sentiment was from
Bigger Blooms stamp set.

A Good Life - June Blog Hop

Hello Everyone,
Second take on the JUNE Blog Hop at Papertrey Ink.
The Challenge - Touch of Gold.

This time I used lots of foam dots to really add dimension on my flowers from Ruby Rose stamp set.
The chevron you see is from the To You From Me, and the sentiment and
the tear drop shape image is from Happiness in Bloom stamp set.

I die cut some gold foil to add hint of gold on the flowers.
Here you can see the dimension on the flowers =)

Added some enamel dots from My Mind's Eye.

Here's another look.
