Sending HappyThoughts...

Happy Anniversary to Fusion Card Challenge!

Hello Everyone, I was invited by lovely Katie to join the One Year Anniversary Celebration of Fusion.
For the celebration they have made this wonderful sketch and photo for us to create our designs with.

For my project I used the photo, I really love the chalkboard and gold :)

I first drew a square pencil mark on my watercolor paper and stamped the flowers from Wplus9 Pretty Little Peonies stamp set. After stamping then I watercolored each images, once the images dried then I erased the pencil mark on the panel. I really love gold, I added some splatter of gold mist from Heidi Swapp Color Mists in Gold.

For the chalkboard panel I cut a 2 1/2 X 3 inches of black cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiment "Sending Happy Thoughts" from Strictly Sentiments 2 stamp set, then added some white chalk ink around the sentiment to give that chalkboard feel. To give it a gold border on the panel I swiped the ink pad of Versamark ink on all the corners and dipped each corner on gold embossing powder and used the heat tool to melt the powder for the gold border look.

To finish off the card I adhere the chalkboard panel with foam tape for dimension.

Here's the full view of the card.

I hope you guys enjoyed!
I hope you will join in the festivities at Fusion.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy New Year again to everyone :)

Fusion Card - Happy Holidays

Hello Everyone, today finally I get to play along with Fusion Challenge this week, have been really busy taking care of some family issues and really set me back on blog sharing, that is why its been quiet here for a while.

For today I am sharing the card I made for the Fusion Challenge with ombre and sketch theme.
I used the Wplus9 Winter Woodland (birch trees & bunny w/ scarf) Winter Woodland Companion Dies, Merriest Wishes (sentiment), and Festive Greetings (lights).

To begin I first distress the top part of the card panel and die-cut the top side portion with circle die from Spellbinders. Next, I stamped the birch trees, fussy cut and adhere with foam dots on the card panel. Then I stamped the lights on the vellum with gold embossing powder, colored with Copics, fussy cut and adhere on the birch trees. I also added some my own dots using Grey Copic markers.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on a separate white cardstock, fussy cut, and adhere on the card with foam dots. Finally, I stamped the bunny image on a separate white cardstock and die-cut with its coordinating dies. I also die-cut the scarf using the coordinating die from the Winter Woodland collection, then adhere on the bunny.

Here's the full card image.

I hope you guys enjoyed!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a WONDERFUL week ahead.

Fusion - A Birthday Hello

Hello Everyone....I hope you are having a wonderful weekend :)
My time here in California seems very short these days compare when I lived in Florida 2 1/2 months ago.
Still adjusting so to speak.

On to the project....I finally get to play on a challenge, which I haven't for quite a while.
I am participating at Fusion this time around.

For my card I used just the sketch.
1. First I created the card base then did some ink splatters from distress ink.
2. I then cut my patterned paper from MME and adhere on the card base.
3. Next, I die-cut the Wplus9 SPRING WREATH die on white cardstock and vellum, then adhere.
4. For the flowers, I used the Wplus9 COMING UP ROSES. I stamped the images on a watercolor die-cuts and watercolor the images to have the watercolor look.

5. For the sentiment I used the Wplus9 HAND LETTERED HELLO die, I die-cut it on the white cardstock four times to have that raised effect without adding a foam dot. As for the "a birthday" I used the HAND LETTERED HELLO stamp set.

Here's the full image.

I hope you enjoyed!
