Hello Everyone...we are now on Day 3 of sneak peeks at Reverse Confetti.
Today its all about FABULOUS FLAMINGO & FRESH 'N FRUITY.
1. For my first card I first combined the distress ink colors Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint to create a watercolor background then adhere the positive of the PERFECTLY PAISLEY after die-cutting, it kinda creates this water splashes look :).
2. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the FABULOUS FLAMINGO "what makes you different makes you beautiful" with gold embossing powder on vellum.
3. I also die-cut the PRETTY PANELS: DIAGONAL STRIPES for a back drop for the vellum.
4. To color in the flamingos I first distress the white cardstock with Picked Raspberry and die-cut using the Fabulous Flamingo Confetti Cuts.
5. To finish off the card I added some Aquamarine 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Here's the full view.
1. For second card I watercolor the background panel again using the Wild Honey & Mustard Seed distress inks.
2. Next, I adhere the scallop reinforcer from TAG ME, TOO Confetti Cuts on top of the panel for added touch.
3. Then I stamped the sentiment from FRESH 'N FRUITY stamp set.
4. Next, I stamped and die-cut the lemons and leaves from the FRESH 'N FRUITY stamps and confetti cuts.
5. The bowl I cut using the larger circle die from the CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts. I just cut almost at the middle of the circle in half and cut the bottom to create a flat bottom bowl and use the stamp set from Petals 'N Posies to create a design on my bowl.
6. Once all the die-cutting and the stamping are done I just inserted the lemons and leaves inside the bowl.
I hope you enjoyed!!!
